Michael Bohm
Michael Bohm is the Vice President of Engineering and CTO of AccelChip, Inc. Prior to AccelChip Mr. Bohm was Chief Scientist and Technology Fellow for Mentor Graphics. Before AccelChip and Mentor Graphics, Bohm was responsible for IC/ASIC development at Harris Semiconductor.
At Harris he worked closely with the founders of Synopsys when they started in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. Mr. Bohm worked onsite at Synopsys, Cadence, and CrossCheck as a Harris Semiconductor employee from 1989 - 1991, where he contributed to the development of their Design Compiler technology. In 1991 he joined Mentor Graphics and led the development of AutoLogic II. He later became vice president and chief scientist at Exemplar. When Mentor Graphics acquired Exemplar, Mr. Bohm oversaw the technical development and direction of their HDL tool set for FPGA design. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology.
