Blue Pearl Software Announces Cobalt Timing Constraint Management
SANTA CLARA, California – July 16, 2009 – Blue Pearl Software™, Inc. today announced Cobalt Timing Constraint Management. This new product helps design engineers implement new designs more efficiently by automatically managing their complex timing constraint files for synthesis, static timing analysis and P&R.
The management of SDC constraints includes migrating block-level constraints to top-level and merging constraint files for P&R, as well as migrating constraints from top-level to block-level after synthesis for better implementation and faster timing closure. This has previously been a manual, cumbersome and error-prone process. Cobalt Timing Constraint Management works on both RTL and netlist constraints to automate this process, helping customers to achieve better productivity for their chip designs.

A one year term license for Cobalt Timing Constraint Management is $25K and is available now. They support Verilog, VHDL, and later this year System Verilog.
